F TA. Club The Senior Ewing Future Teachers of America, under the direction of Mrs. Colleen Nelson, have set as their main goal a true interest in teaching. Each week members of the F.T.A. meet and discuss problems of teaching, hear speakers on related fields and activities, and see movies concerning their chosen profession. This year, each F.T.A. mem- ber was given an opportunity to observe a class of her own choice for two davs. SEATED, left to right: Janice Pritchard, Mrs. Colleen Nelson, Shirley Ynnger, Donna Hubsch. Forensic Club This newly formed club headed by Mrs. Ruth XVantner, meets with the pur- pose of instilling in its members quali- ties of leadership, honor, and poise. The debate team strives to win trophies, tournaments, and honors for the school, as well as personal honor for themselves. Club Consisting of competent girls who are interested in a nursing profession, the Future Nurses' Club has been given many opportunities this year. They took trips to local hospitals and practiced in one of them for two hours one day a Week. Junior and senior girls took a trip to an out-of-town hospital.
