Class History On September l l948 Mass Norma Shea hearkened to the potter of l8 paar of tany feet as they crossed the threshold of her frrst grade room an the Everly Consoladated School lt was her pravalege to guade the followang youngsters as they took thear farst bag steps through the Sorced Halls of lvy Marlene Aakhus Emy Lou Clark Ruth Ann Flcken Gary Froehlach Bernae Geerdes Robert Montgomery Robert Petersen Jack Schoelermara Gary Lee Bragham Karla Schoenewe Lando Walken Robert Waese and Marnae Wall In second grade Mass Ruth Meyer called roll and found that Cheryl Moeller Dennas Ketelsen and Henry Peterson had loaned our gang Durang the year Jerry Walson came and left At the close of the year we were company us through thard and fourth grades Our thard and fourth years brought only one change the loss of Bobby Montgomery In fourth grade Mass Meyer was also the musac teacher therefore Mrs Morras took on the task as our Englash teacher That same year Roy Osborne Barbara Kelley and Donald Rector loaned us ln fafth grade Mrs Bolster farst semester and Mrs Rasdal second semester took over as head of the clan That year at was also our good fortune to have Freddy Morfatt loan us The fall of our sxth year found Mass Nel son our new teacher addang the names of lerry Btrdsall Karen Blaar and Judy Tanhoff to the roll That same year Roy Osborne Barbara Kelley and Peter Jepsen left our 'Olly bunch ln seventh grade we had a seraes of H S teachers wath Mrs Seffel as our home teach ln the latter part of the year Beu Kang and Steve Neatzke loaned us As we prepared to take the last step of our elementary years we found that Bar bora Kelley had f6lOIH6d us Carolyn Wal ton had transferred from Arkansas and Merle Ott loaned us from country school As prang of l955 drew to a close we looked back on at wath a great deal of prade for 25 of us had successfully completed our larst eaght years and were antacapatang our fanal plunge anto the four gloraous years of hagh school ln the fall of l955 we found seven new comets who were to began the fanal walk wath us through the sacred halls They were Merold Mohna Sharon Kamball Doug Coenewold Carol Sorenson Del Roskens Bonnae Houts and Sandra Swanson But as delaghted as we were that we should gaan seven new students we were very sorry to fand that Donald Rector would not be wath us As we began our tenth year we found that the castle bore a new name Everty Communaty School We had a new outlook not only because of the new name but be cause of the resconstructaon our sacred halls were under goang Thas year we welcomed Loren Kang at the close of the semester but were unfortunate an losang Bonnte Houts as the year drew to an end Our lunaor year saw no changes untal the end of the farst semester when we gaan ed Janet Holleson Thas addataon gave us a total of 32 lolly IUUIOYS As senaors we lost Beulah Kang the farst o A ' er. lah , . , l , I I S I I I - .
