CLASS MOTTO From nothung nothung comes CLASS COLORS Sulver and Blue CLASS FLOWER Luly of the Valley Senwr Class H lstor As the bell echoed to every corner of the school yard ut called the chuldren to theur classes forthe furst tume un September of T939 It w.1s a fateful day for the twenty two luttle boys and gurls who entered the classroom for the furst They took varuous seats a d to theur tea her Muss Joyce Carslon recuted theur names as follows Duck Barrus Merlyn Fell Charles Geerdes Everett Hrntz Jerry Kramer Donald Lange Robert leslue Roland Van Houten Merlyn Zesuger Verlyn Zesu ger Edra Bogle Mary Boyles Vurgunua Burger Hope Dwunger Lous Fear Mary Glackun Ro ella Glackun Charlotte Kruse Elaune Roberts Erma Sumpson and Claudette Westphal Durung he year Dolores Cole and Robert Lamb added theur names to the enrollment The tume flew by quuckly as these furst graders learned theur ABC s numbers and other fundament a Muss Carlson who returned the next year found her second grade enrollment to be much smaller than the year before Those dropped from the class were Duck Barrus Everett Huntz Donald Lange Roland Van Houten Merlyn Zesuger Ver lyn Zesuger Mary Glackun Charlotte Kruse Erma Simpson Dolores Cole and Robert Lamb They had the addutuon of only one student Thomas Glackun Seventeen thurd graders trooped unto the class room rn the fall of 4l They were unstructed by Muldued Bogle Charles Geerdes and Elarne Rob erts dropped fron' the class but they were uouned oy Gerald Roberts Russell Schoenewe Thomas Smuth Cedo a Carnune and Marlene Moeller who soon moved In the fourth grade the class had Carol Mar quart as theur teacher Thomas Smuth dud nor return and Hope Dwunger left for country school The class uncreased un suze when Brrce Belusle Donna Brownfueld Jack Gacke Glenda Graf and Shirley Campbell came at the begunnung of the year Durung the year Gerald Roberts and Glenda Graf moved Durung the new fall term of T943 the class dud not see too many new faces Bruce Belusle Edra Bogle and Shurley Campbell dud not return fol lov ung summer vacatuon Gerald Roberts reuouned l former classmates and along wuth Da 'ene Noel who soon moved made the only addutuons to the class Muss Aluce Albers was the teacher ln the fall of 11Muss Albers returned to unstruct the class un theur last year before enterung uunuor huah There were only two new students thus year Bety Kenyon and Jum Clark The class numbered fourte n after Cedora Carnune Jack Gacke and Claude te Westpltal nuoxed durung the year Agan th bell announced the fall classes and the openung of the 45 and 46 school term vuhuch brought the addutuon of Wunufred Cooper Le ter Dykstra LaVonne Steuben Hope Dwunger lwho returnea frorn country schooll and John Rolfs who came the second semester September aruuved the school doors opened and the students found the famuluar pathway back to the classroom Charlotte DeStugter and John Rolfs dud not come back but Ronald Harrus Celua Hun gate and Memphus Ouaul uouned the class lm Clark n oved durung the year After an all too short summer vacatuon tweny two eghth grade graduates of 47 stumbled up the steps ot good old Everly Hugh un pursuut of hugher knowledge They were under supervusnon of an enturely new faculty headed by Supt R A B one and under durect sponsorshup of Coach Rowlands Of these twenty two Merlyn Fell Jerry Kramer Robert Leslue Mary Boyles Vurgunua Burger Los Fear and Rosella Glackun began theur school career at Everly and contunued to graduate here Durung the years the names of Lester Dyk tra Ronaud Harrus Gerald Roberts Russell Schoenewe Thomas Glackun Vtfunufred Cooper Hope Dwunger Celua Hungate Betty Kenyon Memphus Quau' and LaVonne Steuoen were uncluded un the class roll Those who came at the begunnung of the fresh man ear were Ploune Beane Dale Brock Lowel- North and Barbara Kumball Joyce Lorenzen and Juanuta Holdrer' came durung the second sem ster The great day of unutuatuon was anxuously awguf u. - - 11 .1 2 , .
