MR. and MISS EVEFRITT Everitt's faculty selected Da- ryl May and Karen Tinsley as the two most outstanding ninth grade students. They were chosen for their high academic excellence and for their enthusiastic partici- pation in all areas of life at Everitt. They represent the highest values of our stu- dents and our school. Karen Tinsley was an honor student and a member of the Beta Club. She sang in the Choir and worked in the photography class. Karen was a valuable member of the Volleyball, Basketball, and Tennis Teams. Daryl was an honor student and President of the Student Council. Daryl served as Historian for Beta Club and was also on the Student Advisory Com- mittee. Daryl took many of the pictures of student life for the Yearbook while working in Photography. He was a PE Assistant and also played Varsity Football, Bas- ketball and Golf.

TOP LEFT: Voted BEST ALL-AROUND Ninth gra- ders were Kevin Malone and Sandy Alexander. Ke- vin's electives were Eagleaires and Photography. He was on the Varsity Football, Basketball and Track Teams. Sandy served as Secretary in the Eagleaires, President of Sigma-Sigma and Trea- surer of the Beta Club. She worked as a PE Assis- tant and was Manager of both the J.V. Basketball and Volleyball Teams. TOP RIGHT: Three ninth graders were voted as the MOST LIKELY TO SUCCEED: Daryl May, Julie Spill- man and Scott Allen. Scott is an honor student and worked hard on the Yearbook Staff. He played on the football, golf and tennis teams at Everitt. He was President of the Beta Club, a Student Council repre- sentative and a member of the Student Advisory Committee. Julie was also an honor student and her choice of electives were Eagleaires and Home Ec. She was in Beta Club and Sigma-Sigma while also being an active Cheerleader. Daryl was also chosen as Mr. Everitt and participated in all areas of Everitt Student Life. BOTTOM: MOST POPULAR Ninth graders were Ann Gaylord and David May. David's electives were Choir and PE Assistant. He played Varsity Football, Basketball and Golf. David was also a Student Council representative. Ann was on the track team and a member of Sigman-Sigma. She was also an excellent Cheerleader.
