ff It was a happy year through and through and many people will re- member it with smiles on their faces. And Looking at the Future The bald eagle had to soar through turbulant air as it passed over our nation. The Iranian Iraqi War started and the economy did not improve. But, the eagle also flew for freedom and brought 150,000 Cuban refugees to our country. This past year, President Carter signed the pay raise and Presi- dent Nixon took office in January. In our school, we had a salad bar added to the lunchroom and it was a success. Our band was terrific as always and Mr. Brownlee was welcomed as the new di- rector. And gradually, the year passed on.
