When all our successful academic programs at Evergreen are patched together, the end result is one of the lowest dropout rates in the State. In a patchwork of almost 2000 students, teachers, employees, and volunteers, each individual fills a different role. No great Shakespeare is necessary to write the scriptg we all know our roles and act them out every day. But without actors, what good are roles, anyway? With no people, Evergreen Park High School could not even be a figment of someone's imagination.

an , v ares be V. . fi, On May.29, 1975, many Evergreen Park students were adorned in lace, floor length dresses, tuxedos, and flowers. They were off to paradise false known as the Sabre Room of Hickory Hillsjior the Prom. The students were entertanied with mu- sic, dancing, a delicious dinner, and just being together with special friends. The highlight' of the eve- ning was the announcement of Prom King, who was Chuck Porucznik. Each year five seniors are nomina- ted bythe senior Class for this honor. By midnight, the flowers were-wilted, the tuxeclos rumpled, dresses displayed footprints up to the knee, but everyone had a most enjoyable evening. LE!-'Tr Prom King Chuck Forucznlk and Alicia Onj.
