Although this year’s football season, was a learning season for all people involved, the team learned that it’s hard to get used to new coaches and new ways of doing things. The coaches also learned that it’s hard to teach new things in one year’s time. Secondly, we did have some bright spots. For example the night Andy Bick came from the side-line and tackled the runner to pre- vent him from getting a touchdown, needless to say they scored. We had some bright spots that only the team saw, like the night Mr. Theiken got so mad that he threw five gallons of water in the air and it came down on Troy and Charles. We also have some outstanding players. In the league Gary Miller received second team all league linebacker. (Good job Gary). Dave Steib and Steve Robertson received honor- able mention in the league. So, to bring things to a close this year, was not one of Evergreen’s better season.s We did have some good things happen. 5tt FOOTBALL CANDIDS What do you mean you couldn’t hold on to it It’s Mine!, all Mine!
