We, the senior class of 1966, have completed 12 years of education and now must leave Metamora High School. We are glad to go for we know we must find a place for our- selves in society. But we leave be- hind us many happy and sometimes sad memories that we will recall for the rest of our lives. (jomorrow-Svergreen In the near future high school goers of Lyons, Fulton, and Metamora will attend Evergreen High School. Superintendent of Evergreen and a member of the Metamora community for many years is Mr. O. J. Pifer. Mr. Pifer graduated from Metamora High School in 1928. He received his B.A. degree from Defiance College in 1933. Mr. Pifer did his post- graduate work at Toledo University and in the year of 1941 earned his M.A. degree. Three years later Mr. Pifer became superintendent of Metamora High School, a position which he held for twenty years. In 1964 he became the executive head of the Lyons- Fulton-Metamora school district, later changed to Evergreen. Making the decisions for the future of Evergreen are the Evergreen Board Members: (from left) Patricia Simon, Clerk and Treasurer; Jack Taylor, Board Member, Walter Pfund, Board Member; Stanley Ottgen, President; Herbert Barnes, V. Pres.; O.J. Pifer, Supt.; and Gertude Cook, Board Member. 6
