We have a serious challenge ahead. We must get more education out of all our school years, not only the high school. That means more work in every course. Every day must count more. This is coupled with a shortage of classrooms and a shortage of teachers. The job can be done and each of us must do his share and a little more. MARVIN SC HAFER, Superintendent Below: Outgoing School Board. Left to Right: K.W. McKenzie: Verle Fergusong F.S. Martin, chairmang Bill Hieberg Clarence Hermanson: Alvin Dreier, clerk. These men helped to plan and build the Sifton and Ellsworth elementary schools. Each person possesses within himself the ability to be success- ful. Monthly wages are many times falsely used as a means of measuring success or failure. To the seniors leaving, I would like to say work honestly, sin- cerely, intelligently, and indus- triously, and you will be success- ful. To the students remaining for more training, practice the above mentioned characteristics if you aren't already doing so, and you will sense a feeling of accomplishment. This has truly been a successful year. I feel the students in both the junior and senior high schools have worked well to- gether and have accomplished many fine goals. lt has indeed been a pleasure working with you. KEN HAGENSENRW Vice Principal 'x N. xv Qdfx .1 Q- i 1 . rf 1 f V Evergreen's modern facilities are helping teachers and students to acquire and pro- vide better learning experiences. We are now living in a scientific age, and the scholastic achievement of students is a very important factor for future success and security. Opportunities are available for all students wishing to exercise their mental capacity and acquire the know- ledge that is organized and presented by the instructors. Education is a serious undertaking and includes the cooperative efforts of every- one whose ideals and objectives are of a constructive nature. Keep your sights high and work to your capacity in school. MAX L. HUDSON Principal WU! 'X , t .Xa-tl
