a diy Wo klhg Room 205 was jusT an or- dinary run-of-The-mill class- room. BuT when The bell rang To sTarT sixTh period, iT was Transformed inTo annual class. STudenTs were seen going abouT Their own busi- ness, geTTing Things done aT Their own pace. Some of The projecTs ThaT The sTaff mem- bers had To compleTe were: drawing up pracTice DPS Qdouble page spready lay- ouTs, urging The phoTogra- phers To Take picTures, wriT- ing up copy for The layouTs. and Tying all of These Things inTo The compleTed IayouT. And, of course, all of This had To be Turned in before a cer- Tain Time, called a deadline. The ediTors, Jordan Kuehn and Julie Braid, always sTrived To keep The sTaff members on Task. When- ever a auesTion needed To be answered, The ediTors were The people To ask. Whenever There was a need for advice, The sTu- denTs would make a beeline Towards The advisor, Mr. Church. He was always around To help ouT any peo- ple who had Trouble on Their layouTs. The sTudenTs worked fe- verishly ThroughouT The year To meeT The deadlines. The break afTer a deadline was meT broughT joy To some Tired faces. On occasion, if someone would glance inTo The room afTer a deadline, reclining sTudenTs could be seen relaxing and laughing off some Tension by Telling annual jokes. All in all, The sTudenTs en- joyed The challenge of be- ing on The sTaff. This class makes me do my home- work, I know l can'T slack off, said one firsT year member. Finally when The book was compleTed, an audible sigh could almosT be heard from behind The door To room 205. The sTaff members gaThered Themselves To- geTher and prepared To hand Their book To The real criTics: The Evergreen sTu- denT body. Would iT be ac- cepTed'? Would everyone enjoy iT?
