The PresidenT, Chang Soo Lee, commenfed, This year's Spanish Club had over forTy members and abouT one-Third of Them were freshman. The fresh- man were very acTive and conTribuTed much of Their Time To The selling of can- dies. Maria Ewings, The sec- refary, noTed, The Turn ouT of members show The enfhu- siasm in The Spanish sTudenTs and Their pride in The school. Ms. Sands, The newesT addiTion To The Spanish scene, did a fanTasTic job by encouraging many sTu- dends in her classes To join The Spanish Club. The effecT was a much beTTer combi- naTion of all grades. When Ms. Sands was asked abouT how she liked her firsT full- Time Teaching she com- menTed, l like iT very much. l enjoy having my own sTu- denTs, and Evergreen is a wonderful school To sTarT Teaching aT. The sTaff mem- bers are greaT, Too. The mosT imporTanT advi- sary To The club however was Ms. Moor. She was The advisor and she helped ar- range The club in a way ThaT Things goT done wiThouT many problems. Chang Soo Lee commenTs, We could noT do iT wiThouT her. She is The one ThaT helped us and showed us whaT To do when Things goT confusing. The Spanish Club had a very successful year and The whole club enjoyed iT com- pleTely. T mal Wonder The French Club was ThaT small group of people ThaT made, disTribuTed, and or- ganized The selling of Win- Tergrams. MosT probably do noT realize exacTly whaT The club was. Maybe some lighT should be shed on The sub- jecT. The French Club was a way To meeT people who had similar inTeresTs and, spoke The same lan- guage. IT is a very good way To geT involved in an exTra-curricular acTiviTy afTer school, commenfed Secrefary Eunji Kim. The club meT Twice a monTh and iT was eiTher a Monday or Wednesday, Treasurer Ker- man Perkins menTioned. The oTher club officers were: QPresidenTj BlyThe Duncan, fVice-PresidenTj PaTTy Cho, and CAcTiviTiesQ Kim Wang. They all agreed The club was a big success. Much of Their success was in Their selling of Their WinTer- grams. The Winfergrams were designed like a SanTa Claus, Teddy, snowman, or a wreaTh. They all had a place To wriTe a message and They had candy canes aT- Tached. As a resulT They were able To sell French Club SweaTshirTs wiTh Their own special design. The CIub's members were few during The year buT They had fun and learned a IoT.
