FBLA sold iTems such as candy bars, posTers and balloon-o- grams To raise money To pay for TransporTaTion and accommodafions To The FBLA STaTe Conference, held in SeaTTle in April, The resT of The money will help pay Evergreen's way To The NaTional Conference, which will be held in Anaheim, Cali- fornia in The end of June. FBLA kepT busy wiTh sever- al acTiviTies in The iasT year. They aTTended Two regional conferences, one held aT Thomas Jefferson High School, and The oTher held aT Evergreen High School. The annual insTallaTion cere- mony Qwhen members were officially inducTedj Took place on December 'I6 in Highline High School's cafe- Teria. FBLA also had many acTiviTies, some of which were Arfesians Ca special week when sTudenTs give gifTs To Their secreT arTesian- a Teacherj and in De- cember, Ten FBLA members volunTeered To answer phones for a channel nine TeleThon. For a social acTiviTy, FBLA members goT TogeTher once a monTh To go To a movie, bowling or even horseback riding. ln addiTion To The many acTiviTies and evenTs, an FBLA Member of The MonTh was chosen every four weeks.
