When Mr. Theodorc Cederherg, dramatic coach. visited Austria, he took a special interest in their dramatic productions and relates many of his experiences to his classes. Mr. Arthur Ramslad, who visited relatives on his trip to Scandinavian and other countries in Europe. found that school practices were much different from ours. Miss Stover toured South America two summers ago, Miss Ahlers is looking forward eagerly to her vacation in Europe this summer. Miss Tennyson will also he packing: she anticipates a trip through Mexico. All teachers at EHS have shown their interest in the school hy helping with its various extracurricular activities. A number of teachers joined our staff this year: Philip Zalcsky, William Dunn, C, H, -lohnston, Raymond Larson, William Langenhacker, Miss Mar' tha Youngg Miss Virginia Kleppe is school nurse and Mrs. Tiearney is our new stcnographer. Walter Ylvisaker returned to EHS this year after teach- ing a year in Norway, while Roald Smith, his exchange teacher, spent the year l9ilf2 here in Everett. Also returning from a leave of ahsencc is Jack Hatlen, Miss Alanet Smith worked for the army as a civilian and was stationed in Germany. Her travels took her to most of the countries of Western Europe. Her joh was one that certainly might he envied hy us all. Mr, Edward Ellis, Spanish teacher, found that extra schooling can he fun if you comhine it with traveling. He studied at the U. and then took extra studies at the U. of Mexico and in France.
