DEDICATIGN CEREMONIES FQMJM School opened ln the new bulldlng on Monday anuary 3l and therebv w is a uctory won for the event marked the termlnatlon of great difficulties lhe managing and furnlshrng committees had been handicapped by late ar mal of fulmlure uncompleted portlons of the bulldlng and other set backs But th derlsne crles of those who hook their heads w hen told that the school would open on tlmc and who sand you can t do lt that burldmg wont open untll April spurred on those ln charge and the result w as that on Monday anuary 31 l9I0 at 9 a m the as embly hall and roll rooms were fllled with students books rn desks and exerythmg settled for busme s True there were temporary hat racks ln the hall no opera chairs rn the balconies or no llghts ln but school had begun and ex eryone w as satrsflecl with thelr quarters The openmv exercrses that mornmg were not only enjoyable but lmpres me Many of the parents w ere present to see hear and note possibly with 1 qulcl catch of breath the difference between thls and thelr school days MUSIC by the hrgh school orchestra served appropriately to open the occasion and then came the welcome of the hugh school to the students by Ruth Con ner and the response by Nvlll Flatseth songs by the girls cxtette and boy glee club and choruses by the school M155 Brown now a teacher rn the Everett Hugh but one of the first graduates of tl'e school told of the lnhc Gy mnaslum I 1 ' , J . , 'L ' ' , .
