fall homecoming The 1977 Everett Viking Fall Homecoming evening began with the first annual Homecoming Ox Roast, which was a great success. The parade followed, led by die King and Queen candidates and their courts. The game was soon on it's way and off to the highlights of the evening during halftime when they announced King and Queen John Connell and Cathy Taylor, Prince and Princess Earvin Johnson and Pam Parks. The senior court was Scott Warriner and Janet Gray, the junior court was Tom Sessions and Teri Downs, and the sophomore court was Preston Smith and Cyndy Weinman. The senior wrapped it up again this year by taking first place in the judging of the floats. The sophomores took second place and the juniors took third place. The evening of October 15, 1976 couldn't have been a better evening for the Everett Vikings as they ended it by joining in on the warm and exciting dance celebrating their victory of 21-15 over Warren Towers. It was a time of our lives that will never be forgotten. 1976 Fall Homecoming Queen, Cathy Taylor. 1976 Fall Homecoming King John Connell and Queen Cathy Taylor. TOGETHER BY A WILD, WONDERFUL staff. WORKING HARD ALL THE TIME IN ROOM A yearbook has a great sentimental value to many people. But to the 1977 Archives staff it holds much more than that. The 1977 Archives staff worked very hard putting together this special book. Every member of the staff devoted much of their time and ideas to take pictures and to make sure that the layouts and copies were right to meet the deadlines. They also worked hard on encouraging the sales by making posters and special announcements during the November sales campaign. Each and every member of the staff added their personal touch to the events that made the special memories for the times of your life. The 1977 Archives staff owes a great many thanks to Mr. James Faulkner the best advisor, whom gave a great deal of his time, patience and help to entire staff. A special thanks goes to Mrs. Nancy Cusack who assisted us in the yearbook class. Much appreciation and gratitude goes to both of them from everyone. ABOVE: Always busy and working hard, the 1977 Archives staff. RIGHT MIDDLE: The staff takes five. RIGHT BELOW: Tina gives a helping hand to Nancy and Kris on their layouts.
