SENIOR POEM To the uneducated underclassmen, Of dear old Everett High, The class of nineteen-fifty, Bids you a fond good-bye. We know you all will miss us. As we go on our way, But please dear underclassmen, Do wipe your tears away. just think of all we've left you, Marks and gum on every seat, And all the work and tests we've had, Just be good like us, don't cheat. I guess we'1l have to admit it, We never did behave, But think of all the knowledge we gained From the many excuses we gave. On many a warm and sunny day, And rainy and cold ones too, We somehow forgot to come to school, The slips weren't white-but blue. And now we're leaving Everett, A better class there never could be, And if you think you can equal us, Go ahead-the world is free!! 10
