Senior High Student Council Mforking along hand in hand with the top administration on the opposite page are Mr. Alford, our genial principal, and the Student Council, which serves as an effective liaison group between the administration and the student body. Mr. Alford performs a great number of everyday transactions which, al- though not always noticed, are absolutely neces- sary to the effective functioning of a high school. One of the highlights of Student Council activities this school year is the raising of money to finance the lighting of the new ath- letic field. Weekly meetings of Council and cabinet are held to insure closer cooperation between student body and administration. CECIL H.
