Where’s the rhyme and where’s the reason Many of the things which we do seem to have no purpose. We often wonder where the rhyme and reason of our existence has gone. But it is often the crazy and hilarious times that are remembered best. Those things that are foolish, but fun, enliven the dull moments and make life interesting. 8

There is a certain amount of sadness and a wintery feeling involved in graduation. All of our experiences within the sheltering walls of school will soon be only memories. But we will remember and treasure thoughts of friends we have made and the good times we have left behind. Most of us have plans for the next several years, but beyond that there is uncertainty. It is impossible to know what is ahead for us and at times we all wonder where we are going. 7

It is here we must begin To seek the wisdom of the children And the graceful way of flowers in the wind It is to prepare for the uncertainty ahead that we have spent the greater part of our lives so far in classrooms. This is the first step toward the wisdom we need to make a place for ourselves in the world before us. Flowers bend with the w'ind but always straighten up just as tall and sturdy as ever. Hopefully the knowledge we have gained here at school will enable us to weather the winds ahead, to bend if necessary but always to come back stronger and straighter than before. 9
