We've fought lands from afar we,ve fought battles within And have never lost sight of our will to be free To give of myself is the call heard to me. What could I learn from men of today If the men of the past were forgotten Their work against odds laid out before them Were conquered through a faith in God. There've been millions in need in the past and today Who've been lifted by lives strongly guided To give of myself is the call heard to me What if the sun wouldn't shine and the storms rolled in Would tomorrow be the first day or would it he the end Of a new day of freedom, a rebirth of Love Only you and I hold the key.
