Shryock Absent: Fred Sponsler, Derrill Wilt Non-Member Last July 1, 1966, under a State-mandated policy, the former Everett Southern Joint School District was formally consolidated into one district known as the Everett Area School District. The district serves the same areas of population as the jointure, which had been in effect since July 1, 1950. Originally thirty school directors had served, six being elected from each of the six districts. Now nine members will serve, with three being elected from each of the three regions into which the entire district has been subdivided for school purposes. Twenty Four
