Jaxuliy Mrs. McKinley, Mrs. Davis, Mr. Brown MRS. IDA M. McKINLEY is an alumna of this high school and of Shippensburg State College. She teaches English 9, typing, and general business training. Mrs. McKinley resides in Bedford with her husband and three children. She is an adviser to the Freshman Class and enjoys bowling, knitting, and reading as hobbies. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, MRS. JOSEPHINE M. DAVIS teaches mathematics-general, business, and algebra. She serves as adviser to the Student Council and to the Freshman Class. Mrs. Davis and her husband are proud of their only child, a daughter who is a student at her mother's Alma Mater. Mrs. Davis is a musician who also enjoys reading, handicrafts, hunting, and fishing. JOEL F. BROWN is a graduate of Lock Haven State College. He joined our Physical Education Department this year and teaches health and physical education. Interested in gymnastics especially, Mr. Brown organized the Gym Club for boys who do not participate in sports. He is co-adviser to the Caduceus Club and the Ski Club. Mr. Brown, a native of Three Springs, is married. He enjoys swimming and water skiing in the summer months. Twelve

; Jcuuulhj Mr. Gochnour, Mr. Clark, Mr. Snyder, Mr. Orndoff DWANE F. GOCHNOUR is Athletic Director and Head of the Physical Education Department. He teaches health and physical education. Mr. Gochnour is a graduate of West Chester State College and has studied further at the University of Maryland and Pennsylvania State University. Residing near Everett, he enjoys travelling and hunting in addition to all kinds of sports. PAUL W. CLARK teaches vocational agriculture and serves as adviser to the Senior F. F. A. Club. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Clark lives on his own farm near Everett with his wife, daughter, and two sons, both of whom are students at Bob Jones University. Hunting, fishing, and repairing musical instruments are the hobbies of Band Director FRED A. SNYDER. He also teaches instrumental music classes and music theory and directs the Dance Band. Mr. Snyder is the father of four children, two of whom are teachers. He has attended the University of Youngstown and Pennsylvania State University. His home is Bedford. RALPH C. ORNDOFF is an instructor in vocational agriculture and is adviser to the Junior F. F. A. Club. He also serves as an adviser to the Junior Class. Married and the father of one daughter, Mr. Orndoff is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University. Eleven

faculty Mr. Klein, Mr. Rhoades, Mr. Criswell WILLIAM KLEIN, teacher of mathematics in Grade 8, comes to us from his hometown of Turtle Creek. He was graduated from Indiana State College. Mr. Klein is a member of the coaching staff, his particular assignments being Junior High football and basketball. Besides enjoying school sports, he likes a good game of golf in the proper season. After graduation from Muskingum College, Ohio, RAYMOND W. RHOADES joined the faculty last fall as English instructor to Grade 8. A native of New Florence, Mr. Rhoades enjoys photography, painting, and all sports. He was official scorekeeper for basketball and wrestling. JOHN CRISWELL enjoys golfing, hunting, bowling, and attending all sporting events. He is a graduate of Juniata College and teaches Pennsylvania History and civics to the Freshman Class. He works with the Student Council and School Patrol. Mr. Criswell is married and has one daughter. Thirteen
