The purpose of the Tri-Hi-Y club is to create, maintain, and establish throughout the school and community high standards of Christ- ian character. Before Christmas the girls sell greeting cards to make money for worthy causes. Baskets are filled for needy families and delivered for Christmas. The club discusses school and community problems. Each year they have Teen Talks. Usually a local minister helps the boys with their discussions. The Hi-Y holds skating parties and other social functions to make money for letters for the seniors and a picnic at the end of each school year.
