Combed hair! Dazzling smiles! Shinny faces! What's up? It's Mr. Christian who has come to take our pictures. lb were all very happy! A severe storm caused a failure of electricity. Ah, another half-day vacation. whispers were going around. Who would be the new officers? his was election ay for the student council.- The Easter holidays were approaching. Wednesday until the following Tuesday. School closed at A:OO on we enjoyed the movie, UThe Last of the Mohicansn which was an exciting as well as a historical film. The lyceum number, Music Unlimited was presented in theassembly. Two of Miss Kastelic's speech students entertained us with very good readings. HComin' Round the Mountainn a hilarious hillbilly comedy kept us rocking to and fro in our seats, A happy year has gone by and we all look forward with eager hearts to our ninth grade year as Freshmen. A After witnessing William Wallace's Marvel of Memory we all A wished that we had memories like his. We began a well-deserved Thanksgiving vacation and enjoyed it. nChristmas Spiritn a radio playlet brought to us by Miss Kastelicfs speech class. and 21 Everyone enjoyed the humorous Christmas play UGood Will Toward Womenn and the more serious one NThe Christmas Voice.N Appropriate for this time of the year the movies UChild of Bethlehemn and NKing of Kingsn were shown. With the excitement of the holidays over sckool began again. The feature movie HCopacabanaN was presented in the assembly. Our class party was a big success -- good lunch, good entertainment and dancing for those who weren't bashful.

Petrie's White Hussars, a brass ensemble, presented various types of music. ' Miss Kastelic's speech class presented two skits, HJust Who is Crazyn and HLife is so Du1l.H With sad faces and sorrow in our hearts we left our first year of the Junior High School. Eighth Graders l9L9 ' 1950 After a long pleasant vacation we are ready for another year of Junior High as eighth graders. Our first lyceum number HChief Morgann got all of us wondering how to build our muscles. We were all racking our brains trying to decide what extra . curricular clubs to join. E The ninth grade speech class entertained us with a panel on Columbus. There were smiles everywhere for our first vacation had come, Teachers' convention. Miss Pat Senneff, marimbist, presented a wonderful musical program, The radio play, UCantervil1e Ghostn, was offered by the speech class. This really got us in the Hallowe'en spirit. Oh boy! Another vacation, Armistice Day, We were entertained with the dramatic comedy, HCurses, Failed Againw, offered by the speech class. To start us in the Christmas spirit the speech class presented an original skit, HA Program in the Little Red School Housen. Miss Croze's music pupil of the Junior High School gave a program of Christmas music. What we were looking forward to for the past three monthsvras here at last - Christmas vacation! The movie, HDuke of West Pointn was enjoyed very much. Most of the girls decided it would be wonderful if they could go to West Point. The Stokes Hallelujah Quintet, sponsored by the student council, was presented at the Boardman Auditoriunxto the public. State Conservation Commissioner, Mr. Chester S. Wilson spoke in the assembly. He asked all to help conserve Minnesota's resources. We all put on ourchncing shoes and attended the Correspondence Club's Vilentine Party. h

All those wishing to attend were dismissed early. we were all held in suspense as to which brother would die in WThe Corsican Brothersn, , An Americanization program was given by the speech class. V After seeing Carl Josephs we all decided to become archers. we saw the movie HFive Little Peppers and How They Grown. Our last lyceum number for the year was presented by Roy Mayer After a day of hard work we enjoyed two hours of relaxation witnessing the movie HEnchanted Forestn, A picnic which was enjoyed by all was the final social event of our three years in the Junior High School, Today ends our three years of work, study, and play. We now advonce to membership in the Senior High School. My my, how time does fly! I
