Let's not forget the t young boy who guesses the E if exact number of coins in the No matter what the differ- it ences all the main charac- ters of the Freshman Produc tion were thirteen fourteen or fifteen years old and could have been typical freshmen at Evanston Township ln fact that s where the theme 15 14 15 Freshmen All came from for this year s fifth annual production Similar to previous pro ductions this year s was done in readers theatre style which employs the unique device of actorjac 13, 14, 15 . . . rp I tresses speaking directly to the audience rather than to each other. UTo the uninitia- ted theatre goer the first reac- tion can be one of confusion, commented freshman English teacher Robin Hinderyckx, who directed the show. Never- theless, l'reader's theatre pro- vides freshmen with a good in- troduction to acting. Also, there is more material to choose from in reader's the- atre as compared to one act plays The reaction of the cast was one of approval ln the begin ning Corrie Cockreil felt that the play would be just a lot of serious work To her surprise she even grew to enjoy the weekend rehearsals This year s production by freshmen and about freshmen was an adventure for the audi ence and fun for the cast MMOG.
