Many of our school activities revolve around Central Council, the hub of the giant wheel of progress at ETHS. Under the faculty sponsorship of Mr. Michael, Mr. Thrasher, Miss Gray, and lVIr. Rassmussen, The Councilis chief accomplish- ments this year were managing the Northeast-Northwest District Conference at ETHS and the State Conference in Chicago, and ap- proving the Constitution regard- ing membership in the council and procedure of meetings. The officers who directed the work on these and other projects were: president, Wesley Harrisg vice-president, Jane Canning: sec- retary, Coleman Brown, and treasurer, Charlie Thomas.
