Following close campaigns in each oT The TirsT-Tloor assembly rooms, The iuniors and seniors elecTed Louis Beach, John Anderson, James Chapman, and Ronald CouTTs senior presidenTs. ., ' The Oak Park TooTball game, played on The opponenT's gridiron This year, proved disasTrousITo EvansTon's pride as The Villagers rolled up a score oT 35-O. ReTurning Trom The game, our only consolaTion was in saying, Well, we won lasT year, anyway. Few oT us appreciaTe The eTTorTs oT our dear Teachers in our behalT. BuT one annual acTiviTy oT:The pedagogues never Tails To arouse our appreciaTion. When They decide To hgld a meeTing wiTh oTher Teachers oT The viciniTy, Tew pupils Tind cause Tor criTicism, Tor a day oTT consTiTuTes Their parTicipaTion in The meeTing. This year The blessed evenT Tell on OcTober 28. ' The TirsT major social evenT oT The year was on The house as Tar as The boys were concerned. For The girls are hosTs aT The PenTangle Dance, and Thus relieve The much-suTTering males oT Their usual burden Tor one nighT. This year, The PenTangle Dance was held in The aTmosphere oT a loTTy penThouse. Surrounded by clever decoraTions which made The Social T-lall seem a diTTerenT place enTirely, The dancers glided To The music oT Paul Laurie and unanimously commended The PenTangle PenThouse.
