FEATURES .... V Y Q ORGANIZATIONS . . si 2:3 ACTIVITIES FOREWORD This year the Devil's Diary gives special recognition to those students and groups so often forgotten or ignored during the school year. We refer to the leaders who organize school activities, the outstanding scholars, and the talented individuals among us. The officers of the National Honor Society, shown at the left, symbolize those who through their achievements honor, not so much them- selves, as they honor Evanston High School. To them we dedicate the Features Section of the 1966 Devil's Diary. The council conducted asurvey among the students on school activities. Although the student body wanted more assemblies they weren't willing to produce them and participate. The council seriously con- sidered its efficiency and purpose to be an instrument of the student body. ational Honor Society Set high goals! No doubt the members of the Uinta Chapter of the National Honor Society of Secondary Schools did in scholar- ship, leadership, service and character. The twenty-six members of this organi- zation are the highest scholastically in their various classes and are willing to always work to the best of their abilities to try to strive for excellence. These members consider their member- ship in the National Honor Society one of the most important accomplishments, and truly an honor in their high school careers. They feel a satisfaction and a sense of comple- tion in having succeeded in reaching their goals.
