ALMA MATER In May of 1936 the old Hallock building was torn down and a new high school building wes begun under the direction of the Jacobson Construction Company of Salt Lake City, Utah, with employment fur- nished by the '. P. A. In Jrnuery, 1937, some lucky students moved in for the first day in the new fvenston Senior Hi,h School building. The building was built to take care of the crowded conditions at that time. Lt present there are approximately 20C students housed in this building. The total cost of the building was 5lOO,OOO. Fifty-five thousand dollars was raised by a school bond and the Iederal government issued f!5LL5,0O0.
