Sheryl Kay Editor-in-Chief 7 Principal’s Message To the students, faculty, employees, and patrons of Evans High School: As you thumb through the pages of this year's annual, you may find a word forming on your lips — a word that seems to be appropriate when you think of our school. That word? Growth! The past years have seen us grow not only numerically and physically but also academically and extra-curricularly. You are to be congratulated for playing a part in this growth, especially you seniors who will be leaving us this year. May your future years and our future years be as successful and as fruitful as this year has been. Sammy L. Hinson Principal Superintendent’s Message It is with great pleasure that I commend you upon the production of an excellent yearbook such as this. The hard work and long hours you have expended are much in evidence as one leafs through this completed project a treasured record of this years school life. In years to come, you will prize this book to an even greater degree, as it is a treasure house of the recorded events of this school year which can be shared by all who attended. Hopefully, the past year has been one of educational growth and has challenged you to develop to the fullest possible degree your talents. It is by achieving to your utmost that you can best prepare to meet the demands you will face as a citizen of tomorrow.
