There will be memories of students seeking to master the demands of a strong curriculum, athletic and literary competition, and the satisfaction of achieving goals when at times we thought they were unattainable. Our students have the privilege of living in the most exciting, challenging, and chang- ing period in man’s history. As time passes and the world changes, may each of you go forward with self-confidence knowing that your parents, church, and school have pre- pared you well. May I wish for each of you much success and to every student, employee, and patron of Evans High School my sincere appreciation for your kindness and cooperation this school year. Sincerely, Sammy L. Hinson, Principal I wish to commend the annual staff and sponsor for their contributions and efforts involved in compiling and editing this yearbook. Many of the moments which we shall forever treasurer will be remembered each time we open this book.
