SUPERINTENDENT'S MESSAGE F riends: I should like to take this opportunity to commend the faculty and students of Evans High School who have given freely of their time and effort to make it possible for us to enjoy the many activi- ties which are presented in this yearbook. It records people and events not merely in terms of the observable in the classroom and at recreation, but it also reveals much of the deeper meaning that high school graduation and train- ing can have in the lives of boys and girls. The warmhearted feeling and fine professional spirit demon- strated by teachers and students in your school is an inspiration to all of us. I realize, too, that this remarkable achievement cannot be accomplished without cooperation and leadership ability. It is with great satisfaction that I am able to speak of you as “my friends,’ and with deep sincerity, wish you continued suc- cess in your every endeavor.
