 4SC 'DccUccUom To a helpful and understanding teacher and friend, who has rendered every service possible to uphold the higher levels of public education in Louisiana schools, we, the student body at Evans High School, wish to dedicate this annual to Mrs. Lola T. Mitchell, who has given thirty-two years of faithful service. Mrs. Mitchell graduated from Pitkin High School and received her B. A. degree from Northwestern State College in Natchitoches, where she majored in English and History. Later she attended L. S, U. and readied herself for primary work. We will always cherish the memory of Mrs. Lola T. Mitchell.

 To the students of Evans High School: Congratulations to the Eagle Staff, their sponsor and the many people who have made contributions to this project. As principal of Evans High School, it is my desire to continue our good school system and have it become better each year. It is my sincere hope that you, who are leaving us and you who shall remain, will have nourished your hopes and dreams.
