..e, the Senior Class of 1953, wish to dedicate this book as a reans of our appreciation, to a principal ho has taught us for the past seven years in school. Mr.' Harvey has done any things to help Svans School, 3uch as advocatin' a new Lunch doom and a gym-auditorium of which we will be the third class to grad- uate in. Under his jurisdiction we have received a co plete mov- ing projector, better equipment for our F!.i Sept, and better furnis . L :s for our FHA Dept. He is always willing to help for school i-nprove ient, whenever there is a chance. 1 ..................ii — •mm ■ • i Our Cooks XMSv7wyvvkm vwvMVMVM« wvr WWW iiiimiMmuiMiuuw TTttTT , rvil Harvey P. That tall and handsome Johnny Brister, vows never to marry a red-head, but sometimes we wonder if this is right. ..e despise ourselves for gossipir so much, but v.t wonder if -velyn Blackmon ..ill ever marry that soldier guy. Neil Nash can hardly get along with another of our class members, Bill Stephens, because he visits bill's neighbor so much. • 'e wonder what can be holding Aliei t Jones' attention to- ward the rcat state oi California. Someone says it is a sailor’ Is this right? The senior class is wondering about Howard Midkiff who likes G.I. haircuts, fonder if he will ever le.= rn how o :o to Wenier roasts? Elois Eaves, the short, red-headed -irl of our class is patiently waiting for graduation. Lets all join in keeping her hopes high. I believe our smart Dorothy could find interest in Kerry- ville, instead of Evans. Looks as if nrthurite’s future lies somewhere around La. College, fonder if she will ever find it. Does anyone know why Betty likes California and Abtie Virginia? Seems as though they have taken a suduen interest. Seems to me Claud is just goin to have to settle down in Evans. Just wondering if Ruby is still coon-hunting. ’..'hat’s up for Opal in the Tenth Grade? I see nothing (almost) for Donald but a certain store. Looks like Donice is really going to be a Texas housewife after all. Sounds like Alice has found something at or near Camp Polk, fonder what it is? ill J. f. ever live up to his na.ue, Speedy? I’ll just sit back and let ndith tell me all, the gossip. Oh, how did Henry ever come out with his basket ball bet? How will Nelta make out with her new Heart-throb? Did Libert ever figure out what V.I.P. means? As for Nancy : nd Rosie—figure that out for yourself: I can’t. And last the Junior Class is wondering how long it will be before Daisy Jarrell picks up that Northern accent.
