Forward Boys ami Girls Basketball Team Neither the boys nor the girls were very successful in basketball this year. They had no gym to play in was the main cause for this failure. If it would be possible for a gym to be constructed next year and with the help of Mr. Blackwell, Mr. Dowden and Mrs. Knight, they hope to have an excellent team. Girls' Softball Team The girls softball team was not very successful last year. Out of four games played, they won only two. Mrs. Mitcham and Mrs. Smith say that the girls are far more active this year and they hope for a victorious season this year. Boys’ Softball Team The boys’ softball team was very successful last year. They won five games out ot seven which they played. The most exciting game that was played was the tournament at Leesville. Evans boys came into the finals and lost to Leesville by a score of five to six.
