In this endeavor workshop area was expanded and remodeled. Within the book itself, changes were made in both structure and style. I Lance Adopts ew Polio and Design The LANCE, Evangel's student news- paper, developed a new editorial pol- icy as well as renovated its basic lay- out design. Published bi-weekly, the paper had as its goal to inform and to promote understanding of campus news and issues, as well as to entertain. Moreover, it was the general concern of the staff that the LANCE serve as a ministry on campus, recognizing the importance of the written word in bearing out truth. This year the staff worked towards a more comprehensive coverage of news. Approximately 30 reporters aided in the operation of put- ting out each six page edition. To aid in the production process, the LANCE acquired a new workshop in which to carry out its publication responsibili- ties. Mr. Doug Tarpley served as advi- sor. UPPER LEFT: Roger Loomis.
