You slaried off ierm number +hree wi+h a bang by 'dissecfing frogs. The academic value of 'rhe operalions seemed 'ro be forgoH'en in fhe gory prac+ical iokes +ha'r followed. Despiie all lhe efioris of 'rhe fooiball 'ieam 'ro posipone ii, winler se+ in soon enough, and +he flurry of 'lhe Chrisfmas ioy drive ended in a s'l'illness in +he library. The dark walls lined wiih dark books seemed sirangely hospiiable +o lhe pink bunnies, +iny 'fire en- gines, and beaiuiiful dolls wi+h permaneni wave ki+s. Evander was honored wi'rh a guesi 'thai spring, who was inviied +o reiurn as an alumnus. ln fad, il was +his man who had done more +o publicize our school 'rhan any oiher individual.
