A graduafe of New Rochelle College wifh an English major, Mrs. Egan fook up fhe feaching of composifion and liferafure, developing a special fondness for feaching sfudenfs of Evander's commercial course. Firsf as Grade Adviser and fhen as College Adviser, Mrs. Egan won fame and appreciafion in her capac- ify for guidance. When Miss Cunniffe re- fired, Mrs. Egan quiefly sfepped info her place as dean and carried on wifhouf fanfare buf wifh nofeworfhy success.
