S. H. S. with an active year, On December 8, they held their first party at the home of Mrs, Roy Walker: plans are being made for a picnic later in the year, In February they presented their Dr. B. O. as- sembly program, Two of their mem- bers-Joann Donnell and Kieth David- son-Were elected queen and king of the P. T. A. Halloween Carnival in November. The class purchased mag- azine subscriptions for the library with proceeds.

With Jimmy McKimmey at the helm, the sophomores completed a successful year at E. S. H. S. They opened their activities with a party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ives. In Decem- ber they presented a Christmas pro- gram under the direction of Mr. Ives. In April came their greatly enjoyed all-school party held at the auditorium. The sophomores had charge of candy and pop concessions at all the home basketball games.
