Singer, Superinten- dent of Eureka City Schools , began his new job on July 1, 1963. His office is at 1915 J. Street and he applied for this job because of the challenge and recreation to be had here in Humboldt County. He also applied for this job in Hum boldt because of the challenge it gave him. The challenge is the new school buildings , fEureka Jr. High and Cutten Jr. Highj , and also controlling the double session to the convenience of teachers and the students. Also, he came to Humboldt County because of the outdoor recreation it has to offer. The hunting, fishing and camping out this area gives outdoor minded people is relaxing after a hard week in the office.
