I if Mr. Berreth, Mr. Neuharth. and Mr. Heupel gs Mrs. Teresa Isaak leads the vocal part of the music department. She instructs the Grade School, Junior High, and High School Mixed Chorus, Women's Chorus, and Show Choir. Mr. Byron Isaak instructs Beginner's Band, Honor Band, Stage Band, and High School Band. Mr. Berreth Teaches Typing I, Driver's Education and General Business. He is also the Trojanite and Safety Council Advisor. Mr. Heupel is the Shop I, II, Arts and Crafts and World History teacher. He also took care of fifth hour study hall. Mr. Neuharth is the Guidance Counselor. This year he traveled to Bowdle each Tuesday and Thursday and served as their Guidance Counselor. The athletic department in Eureka is headed by these four men. Coach Shaffer is the head coach of girl's basketball, boy's B team basketball, and boy's track. He also 1. teaches grade school P.E. Coach Sackmann heads the boy's basketball team, girl's B team basketball and also teaches High School P.E. along with his other curricular subjects: Business Math and Law and Accounting. Coach Haupt is the head of the wrestling program, he is assistant football, and boy's track coach. He expresses his ideas in his History, Sociology, and Government classes. Coach Hermansen leads the football team and girl's track team as head coach. Problem solving is his specialty as he teaches Algebra I and II, Geometry, and Advanced Math. Teachers Teach Essentials lVlrs. Schaeffer teaches Home Economics l, ll, and Ill. Cooking, sevving, and cleaning are some of the everyday experiences taught to her students. She is' an advisor for FHA, cheerleading, and pom-pon girls. The art de artment is supervised by IVlrs. Glaesman. She instructs all High School, Junior High and Elementary art classes. lVIrs. Kitzler and lVlrs. Gross are both involved in the instruction of High School -,,,-1- ,-L., English. lVlrs. Kitzler teaches Junior and Senior English and Advanced Composition She is also the declam advisor and Senior class play director. Freshmen and Sophomore English is taught by lVlrs. Gross. She also teaches Typing ll and is the advisor for the cheerlea ers and pom- pon girls. Being the director of the Junior class play is also one of her responsibilities.
