US AT WORK AND AT PLAY The Bark staff went on the air for the first time this year presenting a five minute news cast over station KHUM every Saturday. In addition to the news, records chosen by the students were played. At the mike here are Sylva Adkins and Gene Smith. As the noon bell rings every day the cafeteria becomes loaded with hungry Loggers. Anxious to get at the good food dispensed by the cafeteria staff were both Junior and Senior high students. In line in this picture are: Russ Bradford, Ron Trigo, Alex Ry- necki, Jim Carlson, and Paul Thomp- son. The print shop was always busy print- ing the Junior and Senior high school newspapers, forms for the school of- fices and bulletins issued by the city schools office. The two linotype ma- chines were hardly ever allowed to cool off. Giving Ken Howard, a iunior, a few pointers is the shop instructor, Mr. Art Sparks.

THROUGH THESE PAGES YOU WILL SEE Drama students discover that acting isn't the only thing the Drama class does. Sets must be prepared, which means old paint must be washed off in preparation for the painting of new scenery. Engaged in this task here are, left to right: Dean Cleveland, Karen Wilkenson, Ray Dellabalma, Brian Buster, and Pauline Summers. At an A Cappella practice session, the girls sing the melody as the boys hum. This group is led by Mr. Tom Hibdon and presented the annual Christmas Concert and sang at at other school events. Catering to the sweet tooth were the band members who sold sweet stuff at their candy counter every lunch period. We see Charles Lyons and an unidenti- tied girl buying candy from Tom Brad- ford and Judy Hudson.
