SeC'Y.Trea5, , Program Chairman September 3, 1946 marked another milestone in the life of every junior enrolled in E.H.S. Once again we resolved to put forth our best efforts and strive to become the dignified seniors of '48. At our first class meeting we elected the following class officers: President, Bill Brook- over: Vice-President, Carol Ann Smethers: Secretary-Treas., Dale Larcom: Program Chair- man, Iudy Teter. The Student Council representatives were Margaret Green, Max Lovett, and Roger Meredith. Many members of the junior class showed their usual industrious spirit and became active in the school organizations as we prepared to take over the reins from this year's seniors. The annual junior class play was the drama Best Years by Raymond Van Sickle and was directed by Miss Eunice Nelson. Entertaining the senior class at a Prom in the high school auditorium climaxed our junior year in E.H.S. To our sponsors, Miss Nelson, Miss Scholz. Mr. Perdue, and Mr. Ward, we offer our sincere thanks for direction in this year's activities.
