DEDICATION We are the sum of many parts. Our parents, our friends, our teachers, our advisers - - all have had a part in shaping us as students and as individuals. We, the Class of 1966, dedicate this yearbook to one who has helped guide us throughout our high school careers. This lady has given us her knowledge in trying to make us better English students. She has given us her time in helping us and in trying to make our activities successful. She has done much for us, but more important is the example she has set - - an example of complete honesty and integrity toward which we should always strive. Miss Smith, we thank you.

FOREWORD Our high school is a society in miniature. In our halls and class- rooms are present many of the same problems that we shall find when we venture out into the world. During our high school careers we are asked to assume responsibilities that we shall encounter again and again in our future lives. We have spent four years here. During that time two things have been happening to us. Our personalities have been molded, pressed into different shapes by those with whom we have come into contactg our minds have been enlarged and enriched. And we have been tested to see Whether we measure up to the high standards which have been set by those who passed before. With great pride We present this 1965-1966 Hornet which honors those who have influenced us these past four years: our teachers and our classmates. They have, in a large sense, made us what we are.
