A., Bradley University For the past ten years, Mr. Emory has been teaching the Industrial Arts I., II., and III. classes at Eureka High School. He also teaches a class from the Davenport Grade School and has served as co- advisor to the Junior clas MARY CLARK B. A., Monmouth College For the past five years, Miss Clark has had charge of the vocal music department of Eureka High School and this past year taught a Music Appreciation course. S., Central Missouri Teachers College Mr. Hammond has been at Eureka High School for fifteen years. As Commerce teacher, he teaches typing, shorthand, bookkeeping, and office practice. and coaching at Eureka High School. His teaching included Algebra I., Geometry, and Advanced Math. He was basketball and baseball coach and assistant football coach. He also served as co-advisor to the Freshman class.

Along with his many responsibilities as principal, he devotes much of his time and effort toward personal counseling. This past year he also taught Physics. is si Executives TILMAN R. SMITH A. B., Goshen College M. A., University of Iowa M. S., University of Illinois Unit District 140 has been under the careful supervision of Mr. Smith for the past seven years. During this time, he has de- voted his time and energy to improving the educational facilities of the district. How- ever, he always manages to find time for the personal problems of both students and teachers.

FACULTY HERBERT HASENYAGER A. B., Eureka College This year concludes Mr. Hasenyager's first year at Eureka High School. Besides being the football and track coach, and assistant basketball coach, Mr. Hasenyager teaches General Math. FRANCES DOUGLAS B. Ed., Illinois State Normal University Miss Douglas has taught five years at Eureka High School. Besides teaching the English II., IV., and V. classes this past year, she filled the position of librarian and acted as advisor for the cheerleaders. EDWARD L. MAJOR B. A Eureka Colle e -, g M. A., University of Illinois For twenty-three years Mr. Major has faithfully served as instructor of World History, American His- tory, Civics, and Economics at Eureka High School. He has also given much of his time as faculty advisor to the Hornet. CHARLES HERRIDGE A. B., Bradley University Mr. Herridge has completed his first year of teaching English II. and III. at Eureka High School. He also directed the class plays and was co-advisor to the Sophomore class.
