SUMMER WAS OVER Reluctantly we came back to school realizing that this was our last year at EHS . . . We were soon caught up in the whirl of senior activities . . . A long wait was over, our rings finally arrived, we were officially seniors . . . Class officers and student coun- cil members were elected to govern our class . . . The Indian summer days were made to order for football . . . Although the Wildcats were not always - victorious, we cheered them on en- thusiastically . . . The All-School W Party opened the social whirl and gave us a chance to get acquainted with our fellow students . . . Golden sunshine, multi-colored leaves and the days drifted lazily into November . . .

NOVEMBER BROUGHT campaigning to the EHS halls . . . We Went along with the nation's voters and picked johnson to Win . . . We Watched our last football game as stu- dents, next year we would be alumni . . . Thanksgiving vacation came as a welcome respite from the drudgery of schoolwork .' . 5 With December came basketball games and unforget- table soimds--the ball pounding on the floor, the ref 's whistle, and the roar of the crowd when We scored . . . After watching and participating in the Vespers, the Christmas spirit filled the halls at El-IS . . . Carols, mistle- toe, and Christmas shopping put every- one in a holiday mood . . . Christmas vacation began and our 1964 school days were over . . .
