Sec.-Treasurer BOB MC CUE BOB ' , DETTMER We, the Forty-Niners, are very proud to be called Seniors ofthe noble school of Eureka High School. With the able leadership of our officers and sponsors, we have become one of the most progressive classes that has ever filled the halls of old E. I-I. S. In sports we have excelled, whether on the football field, the basketball court, or the track field. Our boys have gone to the state and come back with many victories. , In G. R. and Hi-Y we have shown a great interest, and benefited the clubs greatly in the few years we have served them. Our Junior class play was considered far different than any that have ever been presented in the school before. The High School Mystery was a play of an ordinary high school and was enjoyed by everyone. Our Honorary Society represents the top third of our class. It not only represents the scholastic standing of these pupils, but also their leader- ship ability. - Our only hope is that we may go out into the world and continue to be just as progressive, always keeping the best interests of the world in mind. We will leave this school with the feeling that we have bettered it in every way we could. 9
