'I'hese treas- ures, gathered whlle school whirled merrily on its ways throughout the year, we have stored in this treasure chest. Glad that this sma.11 box was not too confidentlal and wantlng everyone to know about our gems, we wrote of tlullling home runs, timely free throws, and speed records, of dramathatmadeuslaughandcry,ofmusic slow and fast, and of silver-tongued orators who spoke words of wisdom. This school year was one of happy combats pursued on the sports field and in the class- room, making both winner and loser richer ln- stead of poorer. It was a year so full that the problem of stor- ing everything was solved only when the menbers of the staff recommended that we present lt to you in the form of a treasure chest.
