Dedication The 1986 Cardinal is dedicated to Mrs. Linda Carmack. She has put countless hours of work and time into the annual for many years. Each year brings new challenges and ac- complishments in her work on the annual. There are literally thousands of pictures taken for the yearbook and Mrs. Carmack and her staff are highly selective in choosing the best ones. This dedication has made the annuals the fine productions that they have been. Mrs. Carmack is completing her 14th year at Eunice High School. This year, more than ever, she has rekindled her zest for life in and out of the classroom. The 1986 Annual Staff proudly dedicates this annual to Mrs. Carmack for her dedicated efforts and worthy achievements. The theme of this ’86 edition is Special Times which is depicted in the following poem and pages: WE ARE THE CARDINALS — Pat Patterson Class of 1957 E.H.S. We are the Cardinals and always will be — Setting examples for all to see — The young ones know our names and we know theirs — Cause we’re all part of the Cardinal family that really cares — We walk down the halls of Junior High — and see the Cardinal spirit that will never die — We’ve hung up our numbers and met the challenge with Cardinal pride — Remembering times when we laughted and prayed — and fussed and cried — Volleyball was finished for the year we heard — but our girls went to state and finished third — Expecting to play basketball in the “Northern Pit” — Cause we’re not the kind to just stay home and sit — We think of the classes, proms, awards, and even times at the hills — Which have added up to be lots of thrills — Yes, we have met the challenge and passed the test — Because we’re the Eunice Cardinals and we’re the BEST —
