Red Rage Football Red Roge crashes onto the field This year's Heod Monoger is Stewort Willis. 64 This year's Red Rage football season got off to o good start with o pre-seoson fund roiser. The team members sponsored ond par- ticipated in the first annual Lift-o-thon which was held in August. Trovis Thompson raised the most money with $1,500. The team os o whole mode over $5,000 to be used towards the purchase of new equip- ment ond travel shirts. Rodger Ja- quess set the record with o 600 lb. deadlift. The team's improved speed ond strength were felt on the field this year although they foiled to hove o winning season. In the words of Gregg Martin, heod football coach, It was o long disappointing year but it also hod its positive points. The team grew each week ond become true competitors. In the minds of each player the desire burns to show the community ond the school that they hove worked hard to be o champion team. They know now that no one gives it to you.
