That vital core ol Eugene High s student government the student council once again furnished the power with which We carried on the activities ol 1950. Under the efficient service of this years student-body officers We can make a mark for another suc- cessful school year. Every Eugene High School student can say that he has a voice in his gov- ernment. In each roll room the students elected a representative to carry their F ideas and wishes back to the council sults Consequently this procedure gives every Eugene High citizen a definite voice in his gov- ernment and thus the principles of a republican democracy are held high at EHS. The most important functions of the year are handled by the student council. These functions include the selection of an editor for the student hand-book which was handled this year by Bob Ford. Student-body elections and the selection of the rally squad are also carried on by the council.
